Likely delays on the werewolf folklore collection (unfortunately)

Hi, all! I haven’t updated for a bit; sorry about that. It’s time to get things in order and keep everyone posted.

Firstly, and I will be frank, I am not sure my upcoming werewolf book will make my originally-planned release date of December. I’m going to continue working on it, of course, but being perfectly honest, I work myself too hard and worry way too much, and I need to change that because it has actually become unhealthy for me (it always was, but now life is forcing me to actually treat myself better instead of just tell myself I will at some nebulous point and then never doing that).

While I often feel it looks like I don’t work that hard around here, I do, and the amount of work going into all these books is difficult to describe. For example, the werewolf folklore collection alone is certainly a unique amount of nonfiction work (I’m currently still in the midst of translating Medieval Latin, and I have many extensive chapters to write discussing werewolf folklore history), and it is more than I have done with nonfiction in years. I need to stop setting myself such ambitious dates and just work on it as life allows me instead of pushing myself way too hard, so that I can focus on creating quality works. That is, after all, what my Patreon is intended to do.

So, to everyone: thank you, as always, for your continued interest and support, and thank you especially to my wonderful patrons continuing to support me and allowing me to do my work at all. I’m going to do my best to get my next nonfiction book released in a timely manner, but I cannot say at this point when that might be.

As for The Curse of Ankhu, that is still very much underway, and it should be released this year.

More news coming very soon.

Until next time, and hope everyone is excited for it to finally be fall (I know I am, although I am sorry that those who love summer are sad)!
